Welcome to Cub3D_42! This is a 3D game engine inspired by Wolfenstein 3D. You can enjoy features like texture mapping, player movement, and real-time rendering, thanks to the MLX graphics library. Follow the steps below to get the game running on your computer.
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS, or a recent Linux distribution.
- Processor: At least a dual-core CPU.
- RAM: 4 GB or more.
- Graphics: Integrated graphics are acceptable; however, a dedicated GPU enhances performance.
- Storage: At least 200 MB of free disk space.
- Raycasting engine for true 3D experience.
- Texture mapping for enhanced visuals.
- Smooth player movement for better control.

Visit the Releases Page
Go to the Releases page to download the Cub3D_42 application. -
Choose the Correct Version
On the Releases page, find the latest version of Cub3D_42. Click on it to view release details. -
Download the Application
Look for the file suitable for your operating system (e.g.,.exefor Windows,.dmgfor macOS, or appropriate binaries for Linux). Click the file link to start the download. -
Locate the Downloaded File
Once the download is complete, find the file in your Downloads folder or the location you specified. -
Install and Run
- For Windows: Double-click the
.exefile and follow the prompts to install. - For macOS: Double-click the
.dmgfile, then drag Cub3D_42 to your Applications folder. - For Linux: Use the terminal to navigate to the downloaded file and run
chmod +x Cub3D_42to make it executable, then type./Cub3D_42to launch.

Start Playing!
After installation, you can find Cub3D_42 in your applications menu. Open it, explore the settings, and jump into gameplay.
Once you open Cub3D_42:
- Use the arrow keys or
W/A/S/Dfor player movement. - Press
Escto pause or exit the game. - Adjust settings within the game to fine-tune your experience.
- If the game wonโt start, ensure your system meets the requirements mentioned above.
