**note: This is a modified version of the original KLOTZ PCB that replaces the EC12 rotary encoder with a EVQWD001 'roller wheel' encoder. In its current state the encoder is not reversible and only works on the right side, and there is also no push button support.
huge thank you to Sadek Baroudi
TODO:
- mirror EVQWD001 footprint for use on left side
- add push button support
KLOTZ is a 34 key column-staggered choc split keyboard running ZMK. It supports a low profile encoder, three status LEDs on every side and the SplitKB tenting puck.
Here you can find the KiCad files and Gerbers for the KLOTZ.
And here is the switchplate, which you should use, if you plan to use hotswap sockets.
You can use pretty much any knob, which works with EC12 encoder, but here you can find one, I designed for the KLOTZ.
The build guide for the KLOTZ can be found here.
ZMK config for the KLOTZ.
Since a lot of people use the Amazon basics harddrive case (ZH1510147) for the KLOTZ I thought I should put an (affiliate) link in here.
If you build a KLOTZ I would be pretty happy to see some pictures. And if you want to leave me a tip you can do this here (but please don't feel pressured)
