Backport of #5088

How to test and validate this PR

1. Boot EVE installer raw image on the Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tiny Gen 2
2. Kernel needs to boot and start installation process (not need to wait until the end of process)
3. Without this fix, after the GRUB menu screen goes black and the kernel will not boot at all
