- Lossless optimization of selected png images.
- Care was taken to preserve all metadata (inc. ancillary text, etc.). Only the IDAT was re-compressed.
- Images where the png IDAT has many fragments were left untouched. Could not determine if this was deliberate (to test png decoder?), or simply poor encoding.
