Summary of Changes

Hello @usercont-release-bot, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request is a routine release preparation, updating the project's version information across key configuration and documentation files. It ensures that the CHANGELOG.md and the Fedora specfile (fedora/python-ogr.spec) accurately reflect the new 0.56.1 release, maintaining consistency in version tracking and release notes.

Highlights

  • Changelog Update: The CHANGELOG.md file has been updated to include a new section for version 0.56.1, marking the latest release.
  • Specfile Version Bump: The fedora/python-ogr.spec file has been modified to increment the package version from 0.56.0 to 0.56.1.
  • Specfile Changelog Entry: A new changelog entry for 0.56.1-1 has been added to fedora/python-ogr.spec, detailing the new upstream release.

Code Review

This pull request updates the version for the 0.56.1 release in the CHANGELOG.md and fedora/python-ogr.spec files. The changes in the spec file are correct. However, the changelog entry in CHANGELOG.md is empty and adds an extra newline. I have left a comment with a suggestion to address this.
