This repository has been integrated into the Proteus ecosystem and is only preserved here for legacy compatibility. All updates will happen in the ecosystem repository.
The prerequisites and the installation process for using Newlib is detailed in the README of Proteus.
The Makefile can generate ihex (make ihex) and bin (make bin) files for running in different simulation contexts. Simply running make generates both of these (and an elf binary).
