Ty for this, a much asked-for feature! All sounds great - I hope to give it a read and test and get it merged later today/tonight! |

This is great! Thanks so much! Super clean and thank you for the tests!
I feel some debate about coloring it, but maybe it's better plain anyway - also some debate about combining it with the file name/number prefix, but maybe it gets confusing in there...... just making me think, haha. Nothing blocking, this is a great feature add.
Much appreciated! I'll try to get a new version released to the asset lib this weekend.

Glad you like it! The example scene is getting a bit crowded, so it'll probably need a rework if we add more features 😂 |

@gofastlily I created a v0.2.0 release with the latest and submitted to the godot asset lib + store beta today - should be approved soon-ish. Thanks much for another great feature and for all the doc updates! |
Synopsis
Optionally prepend timestamps to log output.
Changes
Settings have been added to show/hide timestamps, set the type of timestamp used, and the format of human-readable timestamps.
Timestamps use Godot's
.format()method under the hood to allow for optional fields. The default format is{hour}:{minute}:{second}.The example scene has been updated to help showcase timestamp options.
Tests have been added to ensure timestamps show/hide appropriately and to ensure human-readable formats work as-expected.
Author's Notes
I've considered using something like .NET's approach for differing format values.
Not sure if the proverbial juice is worth the squeeze there, but if folks are interested I can make that change.
