This is an easy example of narrow sense RS encoding and decoding using FAST GALOIS FIELD ARITHMETIC LIBRARY IN C/C++, you can find the library from http://web.eecs.utk.edu/~plank/plank/papers/CS-07-593/. GRS encoding and decoding will be uploaded soon.
