I would like to request a feature, which would allow us to capture CSS animations as decently as the script is currently capturing JS animations.

There is also an issue with CSS animations, where recording would start after the animations started - losing the first few frames.
The solution right now is to add 2-3 second delay on the CSS animations and cut it out of the video in postprod, but that's less than efficient when you have thousands of videos to generate.
