Ex-Technical Project Manager & Lead Developer @ Rocscience | Geotechnical Software Developer | Surfer | Satire Enthusiast
Born and raised on the paradisiac island of Mauritius, I’m a developer, technical project manager, and curious mind with a passion for numerical modeling, stochastic analysis, and creative problem-solving. I earned my BASc (2017) and MASc (2019) in Civil Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where my research developed new stochastic frameworks for soil-structure interaction.
My professional journey led me to Rocscience (2020–2025), where I contributed to industry-leading geotechnical software (RSPile, and RocSlope2), and led the development and commercial release of RocSlope2 as project manager. Now, I’m focused on personal projects and riding new waves—literally and figuratively.
- Numerical Modeling: Finite Element & Finite Difference Methods, Stochastic Analysis (spatial/temporal random processes)
- Constitutive Modeling: Elasto-plastic & heterogeneous materials
- Statistics: Inferential & Descriptive Statistics
- Programming: C# (.NET), C++, Python
- Software Development: Technical project management, team leadership, product release cycles
- TradingBot: My ongoing personal project—algorithmic trading meets statistical analysis.
- RocSlope2: 3D slope stability software for rock slopes. Led its inception and development at Rocscience; streamlined workflows for ground-control engineers.
- StatisticalDescriptionTool: Tools for descriptive statistical analysis.
- SHEAR_FICTION: Exploring fiction through the lens of mechanics and satire.

- Winner, Small C Math Competition (University of Waterloo, 2013)
- Pixel Prize for Photography (Australian Catholic University, 2011)
- Surfing: New passion—still a kook! Surfed in Mauritius (Tamarin Bay), Canada (Chesterman Bay, Tofino), and Japan (Aoshima, Miyazaki).
- Reading: Satires by John Steinbeck, Martin Amis, Philip Roth.
- Music: From 70s psychedelic/prog rock to jungle and DnB.

When not battling edge cases on my projects, I’m getting battered and bruised by 3ft waves!
