This repository contains all files related to Persistence of Vision (POV) staff project. A detailed write-up of Version 1 of this project is available on

The latest version (as of October 10, 2022) is 3.2. It is documented at https://povstaff.readthedocs.io

Warning: if you are building the staff as described in the instructables guide, please use Release 1.0.

This repository is organized as follows:

• docs: documentation
• code: this directory contains the source code for the staff software
• binaries: pre-complied binaries
• hardware: design files for the custom PCBs used in the project, as well as STEP files for the 3d printed components.
• images: sample image(s) and imagelist.txt file
