This open-source Python utility retrieves official assessment calendar information published by the Cook County Assessor’s Office and converts it into a structured Excel workbook. Designed for practitioners, data analysts, and researchers who need quick offline access to township-level publication and appeal deadlines — no API credentials required.
Independent Python audit layer built on top of the Cook County Assessor’s AVM. Scores and ranks comparable properties, applies USPAP principles, and outputs reproducible CSV reports to reveal bias and increase transparency in property tax assessments.
