  • The unit tests have been refactored so that some of the duplicated setup is now shared

Dependency updates

  • Python 3.9
  • indexclient to 2.1.1
  • Use Poetry for dependency management. Update and clean up dependencies. Set more flexible dependency versions.

Deployment changes

  • Sheepdog does not rely on configuration files in the cloud-automation repository anymore. The Sheepdog configuration files are in the Sheepdog repository.

I don't remember if I hacked the config in helm, but can we also read these from environment variables?

it doesn't look like you've updated sheepdog to read them from env vars, i don't see any code doing it
