nxtBasic is a compiler for BASIC source code for the Commander x16. It supports almost all CBM Basic and x16-basic commands, statements and function. On top of that many advanced features are added.

With nxtBasic you can write familiar Basic code, and compile it to lightning fast machine code. This enables you to write more sophisticated programs as well as more compelling games.

The documentation has been carfully written, but mistakes are possible. Some examples are borrowed from the officiel Commander x16 documentation.
