The Popular Movies app part 1 is in the PopularMovies folder. Some of the code is taken from the Sunshine example app.

Create the folder app/src/main/assets and create a file called keystore.properties, with one field for the api key to the Movie DB: api_key=yourKeyForTheMovieDb
