This repository is the official reference implementation of the AID (Approximate Iso-Doppler) forward geocoding method proposed in our paper “A DSM-assisted 3D SAR point cloud reconstruction method in urban high-rise environments.” The algorithm reconstructs dense 3D SAR point clouds by intersecting iso-range lines with an approximate iso-Doppler plane along DSM/DEM profiles, with tailored handling of layover/shadow for high-rise districts. Required inputs include a SAR parameter file and an elevation file in .tiff format; outputs are geocoded 3D point sets (e.g., LAS/PLY/CSV) and geometric-distortion detection results. The paper is currently under peer review; we will release full methodological details, configurations, and example datasets after the review process concludes.
