It's a new file called LICENSE, not an addition in README.md. Having a license file is good etiquette for open source projects. If you want an online version, you can create one programmatically, that will show up as something like mit-license.org, by forking github.com/remy/mit-license. But please, consider adding the license file instead, as a good practice.
