In 2026, we are embracing a divine call—not just to attend church, but to be the Church. Not merely to maintain what exists, but to build the Church that Christ envisioned.
To be the Church is to understand who we are. We are not defined by buildings, programs, or titles, but by our shared identity in Christ. We are His hands and feet in the world, His ambassadors—witnesses of His transforming grace, power, and work in our lives. As the Apostle Paul said, You are the Body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it (1 Corinthians 12:27 NIV).
To build the Church is to invest our lives in what God is building. His Kingdom is expanded through the giving of our service, generosity, and giftedness—our time, treasure, and talents. Every follower of Jesus has a role to play. When we build, we build together.
In order for this vision to be realized, we must be strengthened from the inside out through discipleship, prayer, and God’s Word. We must be empowered to live to give through serving and leadership. We must be future-minded in engaging our city, nation, and the world with the hope of Jesus.
This year, let’s return to the foundation of who we are called to be. The Church was never meant to be passive—it was created to be alive, active, and advancing. In being the Church, we embody Christ’s love; in building the Church, we expand His Kingdom.

WAYS TO GIVE
Giving is a form of discipleship, and how we treat money is a reflection of our heart for Christ. Great happiness doesn't come from the things we get, rather great joy comes from investing and building the Kingdom of God and seeing lives changed around us.
"Don't store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your hearth will also be."
Matthew 6:19-21 NLT
