Hey! You placed third on the overall rank bro, join the discord to claim prizes

This is a super fascinating presentation, I really appreciate the UI you set up here. It is super immersive, usually I am a bit let down if a game doesn't have music, but in this case it actually adds to the intense atmosphere during transcription. I did have a bit of trouble with the paper sometimes, it was a bit difficult to grab at first. But it isn't enough to take away from this great presentation. Fantastic work on this, such a cool setting!

The amount of polish you have here is very nice, super juicy gameplay. I absolutely love the art style you achieved. It has a similar pull like Balatro, very hypnotizing gameplay loop, totally entrancing. The skill tree was a great way to spice up the gameplay and allow for the progression to be shown throughout the run. Amazing work on this cinematic game!

This atmosphere is out of this world, the aliens all look fantastic. So much charm packed in, I love the exotic guitar playing, it completely sets the tone. I think your interpretation of the theme was amazing, I love food rush games, and this added element of trying to figure out and log what they want is super innovative. Amazing work on this!

HUZZAH HE's SAFE! This game cracked me up, your use of the sound effects was insanely strange but also fantastic lmao. Having the sounds grow louder as u approach the record player was a great touch... But that would be a bizarre record to own lmao. Amazing work on this memorable piece!

For such a short time period this game is jam packed, I love the environment you have set up here. The robots are adorable, and such a nice use of the sound effects! As others have said, it would be great to have included a small tutorial to understand what to do at first. I had a great time just leveling out the area at first lmao! Great work on this, super charming game

I loved your use of the dog sound effect, he's adorable! Seeing him radio you in where there was trouble was genius, and a great approach on the theme. The gun felt satisfying to shoot as well. At first I found there wasn't enough enemies for me to use it on, I would have loved it if there was a more consistent spawn with them.

Great work on this, the art is super charming especially

Thanks for asking! They're all made by me, and the whole point is for you guys to use them. So no worries, free assets

Yes! Its encouraged to modify the sound! As long as you keep some of the original's integrity (ex: don't just trim it down to a split sec of white noise lmao)

Click the sound effects link on the page, here you can listen to each sound. At the bottom you can download them.

Thank u so much bro I appreciate that!

Thanks so much for the review bro, Im super glad the penguin stood out against the background that was a concern of mine while making it! Yeah, we realized a bit too late the viewport was too small... Thanks a bunch for playing!

Thanks so much bro!!

Thanks so much for playing and really appreciate the feedback!

Yessir lmao! Thanks for playing and the feedback bro, we realized a bit too late the retro viewport was a bit too zoomed in

Thanks so much! And appreciate the feedback, we realized a little too late!

Thanks so much!!

So cool to see a pico8 game, very charming art and fun sound effects, great work on this!

Dude thanks a ton for the feedback, I'm really glad the mood felt right! We definitely would fix up the camera a bit if we had more time, it got a tiny bit cramped. Appreciate you bro!

Thank you so much bro! Appreciate u playing

Thanks for trying it out, agreed the retro style viewport made it a bit tricky to see at some parts

The turkeys never stood a chance

thanks so much bro!

The judges and I decided to push it back 2 weeks, there are a few events taking up  some attention!

The design is fantastic nice stylized approach, and great music to match! The photos look super cool through the 1bit filter

Really love the style you have. Such clean art and great sound effects + music

Fun movement with the double jump, loved the feedback sound effects you used. I loved the music, cool drum break in there

Feels so polished, love the variation in the powerups. The hype music complements the fun retro style you have, and great choice for this color palette

The sound effects are gold lmao! I love the dithering effect you have on the pillows, perfect for this charming art style. hilarious concept executed really well

Once I realized I shouldn't be clicking the circle, I really enjoyed playing lmao! Cool visual effect, and the screenshake adds juice

Amazing atmosphere, I love the music. The gliding mechanic was smooth and read super well.  The throw reminded me of a yoshi egg!

Super fun game, enjoyed the whisk bat's physics a lot lmao. Cute art and fitting music too!

Super clean use of dithering. Loved the retro style music, too!

From start to the pan out, this was absolute cinema I love the style you have going. The music matched the scenes perfectly, I loved the tone that it set. The palette was vibrant and totally complemented the animated sprites!

Great color choice, the palette matches the style very well. Super charming game with great ambience, crazy that music is ai! Felt like I was at Corleone's daughter's wedding

The idea of making some gifts fall into the same category was hilarious lmao, love this concept! The music is super fitting, and these sound effects add even more juice.

This shader is  awesome, great mood in this game. The movement was super smooth and I loved the camera adjusting for the dialogues. Great work on the music, it enhances the environment so much

Super captivating experience from the very beginning. I love the sound effects you have, and the low bit hum that goes throughout really sets the tone!

Amazing music, this blues fits the sly racoon so well!
