Alokai Launches the Agentic Commerce Framework for SAP Composable Storefront

Enterprise commerce is at an inflection point. AI agents are becoming how customers start shopping journeys, and SAP's commerce customers need a path to participate without ripping out their infrastructure. This is why two months ago, we introduced Alokai Compass, the first end-to-end frontend framework for agentic commerce. Compass lets our customers turn static storefronts into adaptive AI-guided journeys and open their product catalogs to new channels like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Today, I am excited to share that Alokai Compass is now fully integrated with SAP Composable Storefront.

Compass has grown into the most advanced CX-focused AI toolkit in ecommerce. It brings:

  • A frontend framework that boosts every part of the journey with AI interactions. It is built for developers and includes user profiling and personalisation out of the box, with no artificial limits.
  • Worlds-first Native OpenAI Apps SDK framework - so when customers ask ChatGPT's 800M users about products in your category, your brand shows up with a controlled, branded experience
  • Agentic analytics for all interactions, helping you better understand your customers, their preferences, and struggles.

We still believe that using the full Alokai stack gives the strongest results. At the same time, we do not want the platform choice to block anyone from using Compass and its agentic commerce capabilities. This is why we focused on making Compass a fully independent product and bringing it to SAP Composable Storefront (previously Spartacus).

Integrating Compass is simple

Connecting Compass to SAP Composable Storefront is a straightforward process and only consists of Alokai Connect integration with your SAP API’s that shouldn’t take more than a few days of work. Once this is done,, you can use the full Compass framework inside your Composable Storefront without limits.
