The installers for Audacity 1.0 for Windows 98 (.exe, 32 bit intel) and Mac OS 9 (.sit, PowerPC). Note:

The Mac OS 9 version DOES NOT run on OS X or modern macOS machines. You might be able to get it emulated in QEMU.
The installer will attempt to install Audacity into the same folder as your active Audacity. Make sure you tell it to install somewhere else (eg C:\Program files\Audacity 1.0\)
Audacity 1.0 projects are not compatible with modern Audacity versions. You'll need to export as WAV to get your audio out of Audacity.
This version is entirely unsupported.
