With the Workout Log, it allows you to review which muscle groups you’ve worked on during your session and quickly assess whether you’re meeting your training plan goals.
‘Smart Overload’ intelligently calculates when you’re ready to take things up a notch, allowing you to stay focussed on your goals. It uses historical and machine learning to know what you’re capable of and when to push you.
The ‘Discover’ section of the Insights Screen provides a simple summary of your active program and your performance within it. Using the date filters, you can view total weight lifted, total duration, muscle balance and more, while the ‘Overload Score’ is an all-in-one snapshot of how well your training is progressing.
For each exercise in your programme, you can view in-depth insights such as duration, success rate, and progression rate. The useful date filters allow you to break down individual exercise performance over time.
In the Progression Tab of the Insights Screen, you can see what’s trending across your programme. Learn more about your progression and performance, and get a summary of it all with Smart Insights.
The Journey Tab provides a quick summary of your gym session for the day. It highlights key information, such as the duration, total weight lifted, total calories burned, and time spent on each exercise. Additionally, it offers a Smart Insight for the session. Scroll through your journey to see how far you’ve come!
At the end of each day, you’ll be prompted to log simple and varied well-being and lifestyle factors in your workout journal. This is to help you stay accountable and aware of your day-to-day habits, all from the Journey Tab.
Taking Progress Pictures is a powerful gym progress tool that allows you to track your growth in your Journey Tab. Fully-encrypted images ensure that only you can access them, keeping your gym progress completely private and focused on you.
The Vitals Tab uses data collected from your Apple Watch* and intelligent algorithms to provide a summary of your body’s readiness and potential. This information helps you make better gym training decisions and understand your performance.

Your Body Battery is a simple way to show your body’s energy. By analysing your heart rate patterns throughout the day and sleep data, Overload Workout calculates your estimated energy levels, providing greater insights into your training and recovery.
Control your workouts with your Apple Watch in Companion Mode, or leave your phone in your locker and carry your workout on your wrist. All workouts are saved to Overload Workout and Apple Health.
