Bug: When using with intermittent internet access, the app loads/reloads adverts, which causes the text of an article to jump up/down, so you lose your place while reading. Makes it impossible to read articles on the tube for example. Otherwise the app is average. Journalism is great.

The content is really good but the app falls short of what is expected from a paid subscription. Layout is a bit cluttered. You can only choose dark or the peach paper colour - no white. Too often when scrolling it registers a left/right swipe and goes to a different article - no way to turn this off. Background downloading is random and doesn't seem to work properly - still don't have things available when offline. Very little customisation in general, which would be OK if things were laid out better. Overall feels like an Android app from a few years ago, where one was made for iPhone then they cobbled something incomplete together for android. I like the content but don't like the app, so find myself having to use the website instead

2 things I'd like to be improved. No. 1: Sometimes there are newsletter sign up links within some articles. If I click the link, the app opens up the ft login page via a browser and asks me to login, despite the fact I am logged in via the app! Why??? No. 2: When I share an article with someone over whatsapp, despite the fact the link should be accessible 3 times, the recepient can never open the article. Seems to be working fine over emails though.

Hi Alex, thanks for your feedback. The app can have external links to FT.com, which need you to login again, though only once, next link it should open successfully. Re share: please be aware that posting the link in whatsapp will use one of the 3 views as whatsapp uses a preview function to show link. We're looking into improving share in future.
