Today in my Rust LMC emulatior, I implemented a custom integer struct that will only allow values between -999 and +999 (to match the behaviour of the online simulator). I wrote more about that change in pull request #6 (read the embed below :)) I learnt how to use modules for organisation and to keep my private fields private. I also wrote a whole bunch of tests (8 tests) for my struct's behaviour. This marks my 5th day of #C045S4393CY|, which means I'm half-way to the 10-day goal! Tomorrow, I want to investigate cross-compiling my program with cross, working towards perhaps releasing a stable version. But for now, it's 7pm, and I should really be revising for my Physics mock tomorrow morning. Cya!

I had an exam today so didn't expect to get anything done for day 4 of #C045S4393CY|, but I managed! I added integration and unit tests to Rusty-Man Computer, which should help to ensure I don't break any parts of the emulator while I work on more complex features! I plan to add more tests later too. I merged this work in PR #5 but haven't cut a release because there weren't any user-facing changes today :)

Day Four of coding a Cute Pomodoro Timer -- Coding time: ~1,5 hours, suffering time: the whole day. I suffered a LOT. I toiled the whole evening and part of the night (sleeped at 00:50 or so) to finish the extension up before the Browser Buddy deadline. It looks like I may not even be granted the $30 because it's not "unique enough..." :sadgepepe: Anyways, today was also suffering, trying to get zipping + releasing working automatically whenever I either manually trigger and enter version number, or when the package.json "version" field is incremented on a pull request. It pulls changelogs from the CHANGELOG.md file. You can check out the action @ github.com/ThatFrogDev/studymate/blob/v0.1.3/.github/workflows/release.yml. Combine with github.com/ThatFrogDev/studymate/blob/v0.1.3/.github/workflows/release-tag.yml, otherwise it won't work!

Overture Maps is an open data map. Its stated mission is to 'power current and next-generation map products by creating reliable, easy-to-use, and interoperable open map data. I have internationalized their Docusaurus documentation, which now supports the addition of languages from around the world. finished my sprig game!! I tutor little kids and I had the idea of building a cute retro alien game to help them recognize and remember their colors. So I created this game, about an alien named Bob. Bob is a soldier in the war of the Aliens. The player has to walk up to and attack Bob's alien enemies. But they have to choose the alien that is the color told to them by the instructions. Be careful because picking the wrong color alien could end Bob and make you lose the game! There are 26 levels to this game, and Bob's movements can be controlled by the w, a, s, and d keys. I've made a simple utility plugin for DesModder that helps quickly generate shapes and their equations in Desmos. It currently only supports rotatable ellipses and rectangles, but I'll be adding more soon. The idea for this plugin came to me while trying to do some art in Desmos. I needed to add some shapes on top of an image I had for reference. This plugin would save me from having to write the equations for different shapes out by hand, substitute variables to more easily tweak them, and then substitute in the actual values once I'm done. The PR hasn't been merged yet, so the only way to try the plugin is to setup a dev version of DesModder and checkout the branch for my plugin. Once the PR gets merged, the plugin should be available on the next DesModder release.
