Ashleigh began her Higher Education Career in Residence Life, where she served in a variety of roles, including Resident Advisor, Graduate Assistant Hall Director, Hall Director, and Assistant Director at public and private universities in Ohio. Ashleigh’s experience in Residence Life solidified her love for programming and advocating for all students, and especially underrepresented populations. Prior to returning to Toledo as the first Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards, Ashleigh served as the Coordinator of Student Conduct Systems at Utica University, the Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards at Case Western Reserve University, and the Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution at the University of Florida. Ashleigh joined the University of Cincinnati in August 2021 as the Director of Student Conduct & Community Standards.
Ashleigh understands how Student Conduct and Title IX impact higher education, and has presented at numerous trainings, conferences and webinars. Ashleigh is an active member of the Association for Student Conduct Administration, ACPA – College Student Educators International, and Association of Title IX Administrators. She served as the Chair and Chair Elect of the ACPA Commission for Student Conduct and Legal Issues, the Florida ASCA State Coordinator, and worked on the ASCA Taskforce on region and state level involvement. Ashleigh is an avid reader and researcher, who enjoys benchmarking best practices and relevant laws.

Before joining the Office of Student Conduct in 2006, Natania worked as a Social Worker in Florida, and as an assistant in a Law Office in New York, her home state. Natania is proficient in English and Haitian-Creole. She is also conversational in French and Spanish. Natania does not have much free time because she has a young son that keeps her very busy. When she does get some free time however, she loves to bake. Her specialty is rum cake! Her favorite part about working on campus is getting to help students get back on track personally and academically.

Caitlin's pronouns are she/her/hers. Caitlin joined the Center for Student Accountability, Growth, and Education in 2014. Before that Caitlin worked in Muir College Residential Life and the Intercollegiate Athletics Departments. A lifelong proponent of dispute resolution, Caitlin enjoys educating others on ways to resolve disputes effectively, self-regulate, and communicate better. A San Diego "local" and UC San Diego alumni, her favorite parts about working here are giving back to the community, collaborating with peers, and supporting students.

Before joining the Office of Student Conduct, Jordan worked as the Executive Assistant for second-year nursing students in Cork, Ireland at University College Cork in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Prior to that, Jordan grew up in San Diego. San Diego is also where she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at CSU San Marcos and University of San Diego respectively. Jordan’s favorite part about working at UC San Diego is interacting with students and assisting them with the conduct process.

Before joining the Office of Student Conduct, Deanna worked with Dreamer Support Services at San Diego Miramar College. She found her passion for student affairs as an undergraduate student involved in clubs and organizations at Southern Connecticut State University. During her graduate studies, she worked primarily in Residence Life at Southern Connecticut State University. Deanna served in both programmatic and operational roles, ultimately as a Hall Director before moving to sunny San Diego. Deanna is very excited to be part of the UC San Diego community!

Before joining SAGE, Dereck worked within the colleges at UC San Diego. He worked in residence life at Seventh College and in various offices at Revelle College. Outside of work, Dereck enjoys spending time with his dog, Captain Latte and playing video games. Dereck hopes to pursue his graduate studies in higher education and is looking forward to helping students navigate the various processes at UC San Diego. He is born and raised in San Diego and is happy to share some of his local knowledge!

Before joining the Office of Student Conduct, Shirley worked as a COVID-19 Family and Community Support Specialist, and Project Policy Analyst for the Student Affairs Tech Lending Program. Prior to joining UC San Diego, she worked as an administrative professional in both the non-profit and public sector. She brings to this role, experience as an organizational, mission-aligned professional, and is intentional about team building and collaboration. She aims to use her role to cultivate student responsibility and accountability within the campus community. As a newcomer to UC San Diego, the experience has been friendly and supportive. In her spare time, Shirley enjoys producing and performing live spoken word events with music, live paint and other artistic expressions.
