Sorry, for all who had downloaded Simutrans 124.3 before Jan 12, please redownload the installer again. The internal revision number had been wrong and pak64 had some errors.
This release saw lots of bugfixing. It features also two new tools, a pipette tool that lte you build whatever you have clicked on (if allowed) and a marco editor, where you can copy you favorite airport (or whatever layout) and build it again by a single mouse click. This a bugfixing release. Apart from some severe bugs with passenger routing, it fixes also several longstanding bugs concerning scrollpanes, display of chat, messages in the ticker, spurious errors if a city build on a tile with a road and a lot of other boring stuff. Also reduced memory footprint and some speedup on Intel/AMD processors.
Fixes two severe bugs, a crash on the player ranking and the failure to update routes on stops, leading to accumaltion of passengers to non-connected destinations. Last fix before my summer holiday.
The is mainly a bugfix release as the 124.0 had two serious flaws, crashing on systems with more than 12 cores and crashing when the passenger AI was started. But there are two new functions, thnaks to Ranran, a modern in-game chat window and a player ranking window which are worth the .1 increase of the version.
Currently only pak64 and pak128 have icons for these tools, but the other pakset will follow soon.
The long awaited next stable release with a much better user experience (we hope), especially on tablets. Also updates to most pak set. Have fun!
This is a new release with major improvements. Foremost is the improved GUI with scaleable dialogs, and much more consistent user experience, and support for touch devices. There were tons of bugfixes as well and a lot of improvements internally. The maps now generate sensibly rivers from mountains through lakes to the sea (if there is any). Have fun with it, now also on Android.
A new Simutrans version with lots of improvements, especially for tablet users. Map creation can now create much more realistic climate and tree distribution taking height and humidity into account. Two new list tools, with all existing vehicles, and a list of depots. The server runs now very stable, uptimes of a month has been reported.

After a long time another release the number 121.0. The major number has been increased for several reasons, most prominent:
- Comletely overhauled GUI, which should scale much better with button and fontsize changes
- Larger citybuildings than 1x1 tile are now possible
- Now singal type: Priority signals to facilitate overtaking of trains
Due to some serious troubles with the new features, here is release 120-4-1 for more stable gaming. No new features, just bugfixes.
This version finally handles dualstack home servers with IP6 and IPv4 correctly. Moreover, similar named objects of different type (as in pak64.german) will now handled correctly. Then there aremuch faster underground view, greedy multi-blovk singals (to prioritise certain tracks versus sidings), and new factory locations. The latter requires new pak files. Most changes have been done internally, like scalable trutype font support (for those large displays) and easy server hosting even behing a (UPnP) NAT router.
This is mostly a bug fix for the SDL2 code and contains also quite a huge optimisation of the drawing tool. Multibyte languages now should also work nicely with SDL2.
Apart from many bug fixes, the contains major new features. User scriptable AI, transparent colors for shadows, smoke or light effects, factory animations and sound and more.

Almost identical to 120.1 but fixes a crash when "no_routint_over_overcrowded=1" was set.
Most prominent feature is a new "just in time" good distribution system. It is off by default, but you can enable it in simuconf.tab. It also fixes a longstanding bug on how passengers were counted. Hence the number in the city statistics will change a lot (to their correct values). Other than that the last yer saw many bug fixing.
This is the first stable version, suitable for long time network play with the new landscape. The main focus was bug removal, most of them were connected to the new double height code.
Also by now almost all major pak sets support double height and climates.
This release is the first version with a new landscape code, allowing for smoother hills and various climates at one height level. So far only pak64 and pak64.japan use this, but pak128.britain will soon follow. Due to the many changes, this is only a release candidate.
