I was about writting a stuff like this some time ago. I'm glad someone had the same idea. It works and works better than any other podcast aggregator I've tried to this date. podget is so unixy, it's in my list of "I can't live without this program". Try it out if you are having problems to get podcasts right or just like CLI.

Very simple to use. Running it nightly via a cron job works great.
