Eulumdat_3D the better Eulumdat viewer and editor.
You can view ldt files as 3D ,compare two luminaires, print a simple datasheet. From given light distribution you can create different ldt files depending on light flux and CCT
also as app under https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riloc.eulumdat

Features

  • open, edit, compare and save eulumdat files, batch create
  • show light distribution curves, copy to clipboard or save to file
  • show light distribution in 3D
  • show cone diagram, copy to clipboard or save to file
  • batch convert of ldt files to graphic files (light distr curve and cone)
  • creating simple datasheet with parameter from ldt file, cone and polar
  • compare two lighting fixtures and show them in one drawing
  • AppImage for Linux systems

User Reviews

  • Amazing tool for visualization. The only problem is that the app keeps crashing every time with symmetrical eulumdat files. Non symmetrical files seem to work normally. Are anyone else experiencing the same issue? Any tips to solve this please?
  • Just sent some beers ;) The main thing I miss from all eulumdat editing applications is rotating diagrams. There are many diagrams upside down. (In-ground uplights mostly) But it would be even greater, if I could rotate some diagrams lets say 20 degrees so I could copy the diagram to an illustration where I could show the rotation adjustment with a diagram. And then it would be cool if I could save the new values. You already have the rotating 4D diagram, but currently it is rotating only on Z-axis and the result cannot be saved, its simply for reviewing the photometry. I would like rotation on any axis while looking at the simple diagram, visual feedback, and saving the result to the LDT. Also, the file choosing dialog box does not show Windows quick access. This is the place where everyone makes all their shortcuts to get anywhere on their computer and where recent and most used folders are shown.
  • Great project, but please improve the intensity scaling for polar curves. Currently certain LDT files have their distribution plotted very small in the middle. Thanks
  • testing and using for own documentation and its pure simple with all need info. Hope to execute Licence policy ;))
