100% Orange Juice is a board game–style experience that blends elements from Monopoly, Mario Party, and card-based deck builders. The result is a colorful and chaotic game that clearly does not take itself too seriously.

One of the first things you will notice is the sheer amount of DLC. While this might seem excessive at first, it is not necessarily a bad thing. The game has been out for many years, and the ongoing DLC support shows that it is still being actively updated. A nice touch is the weekly character rotation, which lets players try characters they do not own yet, giving everyone a chance to test new content before buying.

Visually, the game is charming. The graphics are cute, full of personality, and fit the lighthearted tone perfectly. Each character feels distinct, and the overall presentation has a lot of character.

That said, 100% Orange Juice is absolutely not a game you should play alone. It is clearly designed as a multiplayer experience and works best with friends. Even then, there are many other games that are far more fun to play together than this one.

The biggest issue is the heavy reliance on randomness. Luck plays such a large role that it often overshadows player decision-making. I personally wish the game leaned more toward strategy and tactical depth, rather than dice rolls and unpredictable outcomes.

Overall, 100% Orange Juice can be charming in short bursts, especially with friends, but the excessive randomness makes it difficult to fully recommend, particularly for players looking for a more skill-based experience.

Moe-o party

A huge nope, I get that probably lots of people love this but they will be certain people...

Once I worked out how the game actually worked, that's when I realised I never wanted to play it again. It's a multiplayer (with single play option) board game akin to a crazy-ass Ludo but with cards and buffs, and what seems like a persistent determination to find which bit of the spectrum you're on and then attack that fully.

You can change the pace of the games and other settings but it will always make a person like me shudder at the very way it works, and if you don't like squeaky GBA voices and menu functions, you're in for a world of hurt.

Before my brain broke I worked out that it wants me to build up characters, with or without purchases, to be competitive but dang if I wouldn't go back to Hearthstone if that was what I was looking for, and I certainly don't need Gameboy style menus and 14 completely unnecessary [....] type dialogue boxes before a match and have pachinko sound effects that would make Mario shiver as he collects a coin in my Steam library.

As you may have surmised, not for me!
