UnifontEX finally done!

http://stgiga.github.io/UnifontEX/

Way back in 2017 I started efforts to make a better version of GNU Unifont (a *highly*-compatible multi-lingual font on its own) that includes better script support. Now, what’s nice is that you can utilize the closest equivalent to the nonbinary symbol (Sublimate of Antimony) in tandem with the male and female symbols (among others, such as the transgender, older salmacian [conjunction symbol], older polyamorous, lesbian, and MLM symbols, as well as the 2014 Rumpus Parable agender flag [U+26FF]), as well as quite a few other symbols in quite a few Unicode blocks that effectively represent quite a few proposed gender symbols I have seen on this platform or in other 2SLGBTQIA+ online spaces. Often, I have seen instances where someone either does not know that something is in Unicode, or makes something completely novel, only to have accidentally drawn an obscure Unicode character. This happens quite often. Oh, and you get emoji from 2018 and before, so emoji pronouns from the heyday of Tumblr are supported, which is cool. In total, this font contains a VERY large swath of Unicode (65417 glyphs), beyond just 2SLGBTQIA+ symbols alone. I use it as a fallback font in my text editors, terminals, and IDEs, just in case I run into something that involves rare Unicode, because of how compatible it is. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this!

My They/Them shorthand but in the relevant pride flags (including neogenders)

So I made 32x32px emotes out of ALL of DeviantArt’s Pride-Flags posts that were 3-stripe and relevant to the fact that the emotes include in them my They/Them shorthand ᵺ㏟ (explanation at https://pronouny.xyz/pronouns/5e979c1ea207980015e6122b). I even threw in neogenders and other niche entries. DL link for the emotes and their project files is at http://stgiga.github.io/gigaware/PrideEmotes.zip

[“Jummbox” MPTM Original] “SndTrapper” (Special Oscview) [OpenMPT] from stgiga on Vimeo.

A ~6-minute original song (its possible alternate title is ‘Ameneurosis’: “The half-forlorn, half-escapist ache of a train whistle calling in the distance at night.”) made for a college project (a “Continue this Intro/Verse” assignment in which we had to continue a very short fragment [on the order of seconds] by my professor who goes by “@thesundaysofa” on Instagram [instagram.com/thesundaysofa/]) using the online DAW known as SoundTrap, plus an updated version of my, Micasddsa4000, and NPC’s Jummbox soundfont, with OpenMPT 1.28.10 (needed for MIDI drum support and proper stereo MIDI too). It’s a 54-channel 4K (4096x2304p56) oscilloscope view done with nyanpasu64’s “corrscope” and OpenMPT 1.29.x (needed for 64bit float WAV export) with the line thickness set up in a way where it won’t muddle some of the higher notes on certain channels, and it has the corrscope pitch color feature. It basically reflects how disorganized my desk is, and it’s a song that just gets more emo as it goes on, at some points even dipping out. It also broke the SoundTrap GUI to the point of not allowing anything else to be added due to overflow, an issue that wasn’t localized to my browser+machine, hence the name “SndTrapper”. I used 192khz 64bit float stereo wav files for the corrscope input, and for the master audio I used 96khz quadraphonic 64bit float so that YT would be happy with it under 512kbps AAC. I used CRF 17 for better video quality. I set the reverb used for the master audio to the setting “Padded Cell” to fit both Ameneurosis and SndTrapper. I utilized the OpenMPT instrument export in addition to channel export.

(the 4bar drum loop above [the two links under “Drumzors”] is something I did in an earlier college assignment in the same class and I incorporated it into the song as an homage. I exported that drum assignment as MIDI and then when making the song I slotted it in just after the beginning in a spot I felt sounded right to put it in. The wav is SoundTrap’s project export, and the MIDI is what I incorporated into SndTrapper. Hopefully these help you cover the song, or are otherwise useful. Remember that you can always run the MIDI through the Jummbox bank if you want.)

The pin version of “ᵺ㏟”, my new short way of writing “they/them” with the hidden message of “defeat AIDS” in the character codes as well as a standards-derived reading in the form of a rhetorical physics equation.
I’ve detailed it in a text post.
