Introducing “The Agentic MSP”
You’re an MSP, MSSP, CSP, or other ITSP. You need to define what AI-based services you’re going to be able to successfully provide and sell to customers. What do those customers need? How can an ITSP add real value to AI-based solutions? How can you add enough value to justify new fees?
In October 2024 I launched a new column in PureAI magazine called “Practical AI” with the first article called, “’Practical’ is in the AI of the Beholder.”
In that column, I report on resources I’ve found that produce truly practical applications of AI for customers. The very first thing I ever learned about computing back in 1969 when I started studying is that it is all about applications. Everything we do is. That has never changed and never will.
I’ll be re-applying what I’ve seen there in this publication, but adding much, much more focus on how today’s IT service provider (ITSP), whether MSP, MSSP, CSP, ISP, or whatever, can deliver sufficient value to their customers to warrant superior fees.
For 40 years I managed sales, marketing, business development, and professional/technical services for IT channel companies, way before we called them “MSP.” I bring that 40 years of creating and promoting innovative solutions to customers to this writing and hope you’ll see fit to subscribe and become a member of the Agentic MSP community.
