<3 on my sleeve

I’m Aleikza M. Diaz, a student, writer, and editor. We’re getting a little personal though, so I’m just Lex. This is redemption for the heart.

I’m kind of poking through my most quiet poems/prose/photos to find the ones that might stick. Some of these are lit mag rejects that I think deserve a place in the world. Some are fresh, passionate, ready to see the light of day. Either way they’re painfully loved pieces that I can’t wait for you to feel, too.

I’m toying with the idea of blogging, and as soon as I get the right words/ideas together, I’ll do just that.

A few publications of mine are on the way, and I’ll stick links to those here as soon as they’re up. For now, have fun with my own personal slush pile. There will be fun and mercy and crying and hurt.
