(#) You can hire, commission, or sponsor me (or any other form of collaboration) through these contacts. Here's what you should know: (click for details)
If you want to work with me and my skills, feel free to explore my open source projects, about me page, and generally my website :) then contact me through the above listed contacts or the contact form.
Though, here's a TL;DR of my skills: Technology sector, or in more detail: Programming (Python) 10 years, Programming (C and C++) 6 years, Software and library development, Linux and systems administration, Backend development (Flask and low-level using sockets), Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SCSS), Writing technical specifications, Git VCS, Security and cryptographic principles, Databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL, custom), Containerisation and virtualisation, CI/CD, Automation and scripting. These skills of mine are the more prominent, but not final + I am generally tech-agnostic and can learn new technologies pretty quickly.
I also want to provide you with some general guidelines:
-
If you are looking to hire me:
- Tell me about your company/organisation (goals, mission, website, location)
- Where do you see me fitting in your company/organisation?
- Let's further discuss this opportunity in a meeting: drop me your calender link or schedule a Jitsi with me :)
When considering me as a potential employee, consider my skillset for you. Don't hire me if you operate in a completely different sector than I specialise in. I am looking for serious offers only, for short-term things, commissioning me might be better for both of us.
-
If you are looking to commission me:
- Provide me with details describing what you want: your requirements, needs, expectations, and general goals while working with me. Attach mockups if needed.
- Tell me how much are you willing to pay (doesn't set the final price)
- What means would you be paying through? I support Litecoin (LTC), Monero (XMR), other cryptocurrency, and FIAT (cash, PayPal, or bank transfer)
- What are your time constrains? Is this project urgent?
- Are you willing to pay a deposit upfront?
- If you want to discuss the commission in a meeting: drop me your calender link or schedule a Jitsi with me :)
When commissioning me, consider whether my skills meet your goals. I can set up servers, make you a website, be tech support, write documentation, software, libraries, applications, etc., but I cannot, for example, draw portraits.
-
If you are looking to sponsor me:
- Why do you want to sponsor me?
- Tell me about yourself :)
- What do you expect in return?
- How much are you thinking of putting down in this sponsorship? You can provide the figure in Litecoin (LTC), Monero (XMR), other crypto, or FIAT units.
- Are you thinking of a contractual or a non-contractual sponsorship?
- If you want to discuss the sponsorship in a meeting: drop me your calender link or schedule a Jitsi with me :)
This is mainly for large-scale sponsorships or more corporate things. For individuals, I recommend you check out the donation page :)
Of course, outside of these, feel free to provide any other extra information you think is important to mention. The lists above are just guidelines, not strict requirements.
For end-to-end encryption (E2EE) use my published public keys to encrypt your messages and/or attachments.
(#) Don't be weird in my DMs, please. If I block you, it's nothing personal. Importantly, I am not your friend - just a parasocial figure! ⚠️ (click for details)
Please, at the very least for FSM's sake, don't be weird in my DMs - no flirting, no rudeness, no creepiness, no people that are double or half my age, just be respectful, appropriate, and human. This space is for people with good intentions. I'm open to talking about tech, the IndieWeb, contemporary events, collaborating or helping on projects, helping out with bug reports and tech-related questions, discussing professional or organisational ties, etc. All the sane stuff!
Also important to note that if I block you, it's nothing personal - just me setting boundaries. Please don't try to bypass blocks or take it to heart - I want to keep the interactions healthy and reasonable.
Notably, I've learned a great deal from various content creators on YouTube as well, and I'd like to clarify something: I am not your friend. This isn't to say I'm unfriendly - I strive to be as helpful as possible, however, I want to make it clear that I'm not seeking new friendships or strictly casual interactions, and I don't want to give the impression that I am. If you have any questions or need assistance, I'm more than happy to help, but please remember that I am simply a parasocial figure - you don't know me, so kindly avoid treating me as a friend :) I'm just a silly person in the indietech space. I appreciate kind-hearted and good-willing messages, just not open for new people this dilly-dally... Prefer to keep all casual interactions public if possible (through means like the guestbook or public social media for example) :)
Thanks for understanding and keeping things respectful! <3
