After nearly 250 editions, it’s also become a weekly ritual, reminding us to see small, occasionally overlooked things differently, more expansively, with more wonder.
A little about me—My name is Christene Barberich (hi:), I’m a writer, compulsive shelf re-arranger, closet-cleaner, design-book hoarder, vintage Prada collector, and a mom, too. (In a previous life, I co-founded and was the longtime editor of Refinery29 where I spent most of my 30s and 40s helping to reframe women’s storytelling in a digital world.)
Every week, I write to our community here from my own 750 square-foot apartment in Brooklyn Heights to talk about a mix of things, from reimagining my teeny bedroom, to an insider’s edit for your seasonal wardrobe OR shopping IKEA, to thrifting wonderful/weird gems, to deep-dives into things I lose my MIND over—reading nooks, old houses, apartment tours, and finding YOUR OWN center 😎.
