I received my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science at UNLV with a Minor in Mathematics. I also completed a Masters Degree at the University of Utah in the field of Computer Science. Meet Gerald Versluis, software engineer at Microsoft, who wields the power of .NET MAUI to conquer any project that comes his way. With a career spanning over a decade, he's tackled it all, from frontend to backend and everything in between, using Azure, ASP.NET, and all the other .NET goodies.

Rik helps organisations use Cloud better as CEO and co-founder of Zure UK. Whether that is a new adoption where governance and management are key, or an application modernisation project where technology choice and team knowledge are important factors in success.
Through his public speaking and community involvement, Rik is a recipient of the Microsoft MVP Programme award for his work with Azure. He is also proud to be a member of the Microsoft Regional Director Programme. As an event organiser, speaker and lapsed blogger, Rik is keen to share his knowledge with the community, and encourage and support others as they do the same.
His grey hair is an indication of how long he has worked in IT, and in that time he's done most things you'd expect of an IT Pro: From crawling under floors pulling cables, to managing large scale automated OS rollouts, to architecting solutions for on-premises and cloud. Now he spends more time working with his customers' management, sharing that breadth of experience and learning.

Dylan Beattie is an independent consultant who has been building data-driven web applications since the 1990s. He’s managed teams, taught workshops, and worked on everything from tiny standalone websites to complex distributed systems. He’s a Microsoft MVP, and he regularly speaks at conferences and user groups all over the world.

Dylan is the creator of the Rockstar programming language, and the founder, vocalist and lead guitarist with The Linebreakers, the world's greatest nerd comedy classic rock disco alt punk covers band.

Daniel Roth is a Principal Product Manager on the ASP.NET team at Microsoft.

David is a Principal Product Manager for .NET at Microsoft, focused on .NET MAUI. A .NET developer since 2002, and versed in a range of programming languages, David has developed web, environmental, and mobile experiences for a wide variety of industries. After several successes with tech startups and running his own software company, David joined Microsoft to follow his passion: crafting tools that help developers create better app experiences. When not at a computer or with his family, David is running through the woods.

I work as Senior Cloud Developer Advocate for Microsoft after almost 10 years spent working for IdentityMine and Valorem, two leading firms in Microsoft technologies. I am one of the foremost experts for XAML and C# based development. I code in Azure, Windows, WPF, Xamarin (iOS and Android), ASP.NET. On my free time, I write for technical publications such as MSDN Magazine, and my blog is on blog.galasoft.ch. I am a frequent speaker at conferences such as VSLive, TechSummit, NDC, Oredev and many other international events. In the past I spoke at Microsoft MIX, TechEd, TechDays and more. Prior to joining Microsoft, I was a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for Windows development from 2007 to 2017, a Microsoft Regional Director from 2013 and a Xamarin Most Valuable Professional from 2015. Debbie has over 15 years experience in Frontend development. She has worked as a Tech Lead and consultant for many important clients with varios technologies and often with a strong focus on performance, static sites and testing. She has lead teams both in house and remotely as well as giving workshops and training. She has many years of experience as a mentor for online learning platforms, Treehouse and OpenClassrooms. Debbie is a Google Developer Expert in web technologies, Cloudinary Media Developer Expert and Nuxt Ambassador as well as a GitHub Star alumni and a previous Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in developer technologies.

Debbie has a special love for JavaScript frameworks especially Vue.js and Nuxt.js and React as well as testing where she now focuses her time on Playwright end to end testing. She holds a Frontend and FullStack Tech Degree and is Microsoft certified. Debbie is an international speaker, who has spoken at many meet-ups and conferences worldwide on many continents including Antarctica. She is an open source contributor and a teacher at Vue School and Jamstack Explorers and is also a writer for Ultimate Courses.

Debbie is Irish but lives and works in Mallorca, Spain and when she is not writing code and studying new technologies she can often be found doing all sorts of sports from running, cycling, padel, body combat and skiing and of course Taekwondo where she is a 4th degree black belt.

Safia is a software engineer on the ASP.NET Core team at Microsoft working on building open source web frameworks.

Silvano Coriani is a Program Manager in Azure Database for PostgreSQL team at Microsoft. He has over 25 years of experience in application development and database design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. He is specialised in data access libraries, query optimisation, and distributed system design. He is also an author and speaker in many international industry conferences.

Chris Klug is a developer badass-as-a-service that either creates or solves problems depending on who you ask. He loves creating and building things. Whether it be a new application, a new kitchen or a new RC helicopter, you will see him building things all the time. Most of the time, that means writing code and solving problems for clients at a company called Active Solution in Stockholm though. Except for the many days he spends at conferences and usergroups, talking about doing things he is passionate about, and for the days he goes mountain biking, IPSC shooting, kiteboarding or RC helicopter flying.
For the last 15-something years, he has been solving problems for customers, and loving it. But if he gets to choose, he'll go to the beach and kitesurf every day!

Rachel currently works for JetBrains as a Developer Advocate. She has been in the business of creating software for over 25 years, as an author, mentor, and speaker at top industry conferences such as Techorama, //build, Øredev, NDC and SDD. During her career, she has worked on projects of all sizes from the smallest of apps, to the largest enterprise systems at some of the world’s leading companies.

Rachel’s expertise is in web development on the Microsoft stack, specifically Azure Functions, ASP.NET MVC, Web Forms, SignalR, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Her hobbies include science, AI, reading, languages, and travel.

Jimmy is the creator and maintainer of the popular OSS libraries AutoMapper and MediatR, and the originator of Vertical Slice Architecture. Jimmy is an independent software consultant based in Austin, TX. Jimmy has received the "Microsoft Most Valuable Professional" (MVP) award every year since 2009.

Mark is a strategic and collaborative leader who increases product value by applying innovation, creativity, and interpersonal skills to solve challenging problems and turn difficulties into opportunities. Mark has experience in all facets of software development: leading open source projects and communities, planning strategy, partnering with clients to achieve mutually profitable solutions, creating developer ecosystems, and building cloud platforms.

Scott is a web developer who has been blogging at

Tom is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft working on the data-plane for Azure API Management helping customers successfully scale their API landscapes.

He has been working in the cloud-native space for 7+ years. Autoscaling is in his DNA and is an alumni maintainer of Kubernetes Event-Driven Autoscaling (KEDA), a CNCF Graduation project that makes application autoscaling on Kubernetes dead simple.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Tom was recognized as a Microsoft Azure MVP & Advisor from 2014 to 2021, a CNCF Ambassador from 2020 to 2023 and was one of the first GitHub Stars.

I’m the National Innovation Officer for Microsoft Portugal, responsible for helping companies grow and accelerate the innovation impact that we can have in Portugal, having worked in Tech innovation for many years. Jon is a Program Manager on the Microsoft Developer Division community team. He’s been developing software professionally since the late 1990’s, and over the years has written several books, popular .NET tutorials and samples, a top speaker on Microsoft Virtual Academy, and worked behind the scenes on large Microsoft keynote demonstrations. He’s helped run the Herding Code podcast for 10 years, and tweets as @jongalloway.

Richard Campbell wrote his first line of code in 1977. His career has spanned the computing industry both on the hardware and software sides, development, and operations. He was a co-founder of Strangeloop Networks, acquired by Radware in 2013, and was on the board of directors of Telerik, which was acquired by Progress Software in 2014. Today, he is a consultant and advisor to a number of successful technology firms and is the founder and chairman of Humanitarian Toolbox (www.htbox.org), a public charity that builds open-source software for disaster relief. Glenn F. Henriksen is a mentor and developer from Norway. As the co-founder and CTO of Justify, he gets to build new legal tools for everyone to use, helping to create better communication and less conflict in relationships. He's continuously exploring new tools, processes and technologies, and improving how he and his fellow developers work with code, tasks and projects. He has been a Microsoft Development MVP, a part of the Microsoft Regional Director program and is an ASP.NET Insider and an Azure Advisor. In the past 25+ years he has co-owned two companies, worked as a consultant, manager, support tech, network admin, developer, architect, technical lead and more, but his favorite things are still swapping code for food and building stuff that makes a difference in people’s lives.

Barbara Forbes is the Field CTO at OGD in the Netherlands. She is a Microsoft Azure MVP, MCT, and a GitHub Star. In her work Barbara aims to be the bridge between strategy, technology, education and development. Her focus includes the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Generative AI, Infrastructure as Code, PowerShell and GitHub. Barbara loves teaching in an accessible manner; in person, as a teacher for LinkedIn Learning and as a regular speaker at conferences and user groups. She is actively involved in the tech community, including being part of the organization of European events

Amanda Silver is a Corporate Vice President and serves in two roles - as Head of Product for Microsoft's Developer Division (DevDiv) and General Manager for Microsoft's 1st party Engineering Systems. The mission of the Developer Division is to empower developers and their teams to achieve more. It includes our developer tools, runtimes, and services. Products include the Visual Studio family which just crossed 50M MAU, our programming languages including .NET, C#, TypeScript, Python, C++, OpenJDK, the developer experience for Azure, our Azure Application Development PaaS and Serverless offerings, Azure DevOps, and the Open Source Programs Office. Filip is a dual Microsoft MVP, author of the academic textbook "Introduction to Quantum Computing with Q# and QDK” and an open source contributor. He specializes in cloud technologies and quantum computing. Filip is based in Zürich where he works in the medical industry as a Cloud Architect.

Software engineer by day and AI enthusiast by night. Veronika has extensive experience in full-stack development using C#, .NET, Java and Typescript, Azure and AWS clouds. Thiago has worked on a variety of companies as a developer, architect, and team leader building applications and experiences. He is a former Microsoft MVP and joined Microsoft in 2011 and since then has been working directly with customers driving adoption and development of industry leading applications and services. He's now part of the Azure Functions product group as a technical PM in the developer platform division.

Guilherme "Gui" Ferreira is a Minimalist Software Craftsman, passionate about simplicity and continuous learning. 
He is a Microsoft MVP, Tech Speaker, YouTuber, Dometrain Author, and .NET content creator.

Sam is a Microsoft Azure MVP.  As a technical advisor and investor at several cloud start-ups, he is involved in cloud-native architectures and focuses on Serverless technologies, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence.  
While he is currently technical lead and founder at a SaaS-startup, called Sfinx, he has been working as CTO at Codit, one of the leading European Microsoft cloud partners.  In working together with Microsoft, Sam has extensive experience in building data-driven, integrated cloud-based solutions.  
Sam has been involved in several industrial IoT projects and has been contributing to the open-source Arcus project, focusing on the Machine Learning aspects.

Magnus Mårtensson is an entrepreneur, a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Azure since the start of the cloud, and a Microsoft Regional Director (RD). He is a consultant, architect, product development lead, and he runs his own company Loftysoft. As an international speaker Magnus travels the world to teach, network, learn, and experience. His passions include connecting with audiences and organizing conferences such as CloudBurst and GlobalAzure. He is of course also into good food, wine, and great company. Johnny Hooyberghs is a managing partner and consultant for Involved NV, part of the Cronos group, since 2014 focusing on software architecture, backend development and a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for Azure and Developer Technologies since 2020. Colin Dembovsky is the Director of Field Services for GitHub Copilot. He is a self-proclaimed DevOpsologist and was a Microsoft ALM MVP from 2011 to 2022. He is based in Spring, TX but remains proudly South African 🇿🇦!

After completing an MSc in Computer Science at Rhodes University, he worked as a developer and later systems architect, implementing DevOps “by feel” and in the trenches. In 2010, he left development to start consulting, using his experience, insight and strategic thinking to help organizations put DevOps into practice. By 2019, Colin was leading a DevOps practice at 10th Magnitude. In 2021, Colin joined GitHub as a Solutions Engineer.

Colin is passionate about helping teams improve the quality of their software and do it more efficiently and securely. Adele is a Software Engineer and Consultant at Trifork Amsterdam where she is working on systems for the educational sector. Most of her work day is spent in the JVM/Spring and React ecosystems, although increasingly she plays a pivotal role as trusted advisor to Trifork’s customers.

Adele is an experienced international speaker, having spoken at multiple editions of NDC, goto, Devoxx and JavaZone. As a speaker, she uses her exposure to real-world customer projects, experiences outside of tech and passion for story-telling to distill complex ideas into their essential parts. All with an air of good humour.

When she’s not at her computer or on stage, you can find her in the gym pumping some serious iron as she pursues the sport of powerlifting.

Hey! I'm a technical consultant from Madrid. I've been working for years with D365CE and PowerPlatform, trying to increase their capabilities with Azure. I am a proud part of the Dynamics community and love participating in conferences and events to share my knowledge and learn about other people's experiences and new functionalities. 

Liam Westley was most recently Head of Engineering at FreemarketFX, a fintech startup specializing in foreign currency trading, with a cloud native platform in Azure, helping expand a single development and QA team from eight people, to five teams, while obtaining an Ireland banking licence and implementing full Azure regional redundancy.

Previous to FreemarketFX, Liam worked at Huddle helping the mobile and desktop teams create apps to play nicely with microservices.  At Criteria MX, a digital media startup and he has worked as a consultant specialising in software for Broadcast Television. His Niagara SMS moderation system was used by QVC UK for eight years to display SMS messages from viewers, live, on screen. Liam is also responsible for the ticketing system for Hat Trick Productions which provides e-tickets to shows such as Have I Got News For You and Room 101.

Liam has worked for chellomedia, GMTV, BSkyB, SmashedAtom and Original Thinking Group. In his time he created the first in house weather system for Sky News using Visual Basic 1.0, acted as architect for two general election systems, project managed the launch of the GMTV web site, was key to delivering the first interactive television chat service in the UK for BSkyB and helped launch the first live shopping channel in the Netherlands.

Niall is an Irish guy who managed to end up in Norway after finding out the country existed when he was in New Zealand. He works at Microsoft helping customers with their technology investments. He has very strong opinions on security, web tech, food and wine.

Originally from Belgium, Bart relocated to work at the Microsoft headquarters in 2007 after graduating from Ghent University while being a C# MVP.

After having worked on WPF and .NET for a few years, Bart focused on reactive programming for quite some time, helping to build Reactive Extensions (Rx) and large scale event processing systems powering various cloud services.

After a brief stint in AutoML focusing on Python performance tuning, Bart is now focusing on building next generation distributed systems in the office of the CTO.

Steve Sanderson works on the ASP.NET team at Microsoft, making the platform better for client-side application developers.

Scott works on the Azure Developer Experience team at Microsoft. His team builds all the tools for Azure (Command-Line, VS Code, Visual Studio), the Azure SDKs and many developer services including App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps and many more. Before Azure Developer Scott led the ASP.NET and .NET team rebooting .NET with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core. He is also an avid hiker and Formula One fan.

As a lead product manager for Azure Developer Compute at Microsoft, I am responsible for the PM team that designs the developer experiences for serverless and microservices applications in the cloud. This includes Azure Functions and also Microsoft's contributions to Dapr (a CNCF incubations project for building microservices). In my role I'm very passionate about helping developers succeed building high-scale distributed applications, and building a strong collaboration with customers so we're in tune with their needs. We're having fun learning and challenging the status quo in a breadth of technologies and languages, e.g. Linux, Windows, Python, Node, Go, Java, .NET, Serverless, containers, service meshes, and application observability. Mads is the Lead Designer of C# and an Architect at Microsoft. He's worked on C# since 2005, and on programming languages for quite a bit longer. 

James Montemagno is a Principal Lead Program Manager for Developer Community at Microsoft. He has been a .NET developer since 2005 and has been crafting multi-platform apps for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows since 2011 with Xamarin and now .NET MAUI. In his spare time, he is most likely cycling or guzzling gallons of coffee at a local coffee shop. Leslie also worked on the Visual Studio team developing and enhancing extensibility and debugging features. 

Andrew is a Principal Product Manager who works on the public cloud offering, Azure App Service as well as the on-premises Azure Stack variant of App Service.

Marlene is a Senior Developer Advocate specializing in Python and AI at Microsoft, a computer scientist, keynote speaker and explorer. She is the current chair of the Association for Computing Machinery(ACM) practitioner board, was the previous vice chair of the Python Software Foundation and led the first PyCon Africa.

Nick is a Content Creator focusing on C# & .NET and an Author and Founder of the educational platform Dometrain.

Jennifer Marsman is a Principal Engineer in the Office of the CTO at Microsoft, focused on generative AI with OpenAI models.  She has worked for Microsoft for over 20 years; previous teams include Azure Cognitive Search, AI for Earth, CSE, Developer Evangelism, the Assistance Platform, and the Natural User Interface Platform (reorged from the Natural Language Group).  Jennifer is a frequent speaker at software development conferences around the world, including the United Nations AI for Good Summit. 

Since 2016, Jennifer was recognized as one of the “top 100 most influential individuals in artificial intelligence and machine learning” by Onalytica, reaching the #2 slot in 2018. In Dec 2017, Jennifer was named one of the “10 Influential Female Developers to Know and Love on StackOverflow” by Traackr. She has been featured in Bloomberg for her work using EEG and machine learning to perform lie detection. In 2009, Jennifer was chosen as "Techie whose innovation will have the biggest impact" by X-OLOGY for her work with GiveCamps, a weekend-long event where developers code for charity. Previously at Microsoft, Jennifer was the Principal Software Engineer Lead of the Grok AI group on the Azure Cognitive Search team, where she focused on applying machine learning to unstructured data.  Prior to that, Jennifer was the Principal Engineer of the AI for Earth team, where she used data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to aid with clean water, agriculture, biodiversity, and climate change.  Jennifer was also a software developer in Microsoft’s Natural Interactive Services division, where she earned two patents for her work in search and data mining algorithms. Jennifer has also held positions with Ford Motor Company, National Instruments, and Soar Technology. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Based near Seattle, Brady Gaster aspires to make it easy for .NET developers to party in the cloud as the product manager behind Visual Studio’s Azure right-click publish and Connected Services features. He also helps with Aspire tooling support in Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code. When not designing new tooling features or building demos with teammates, he’s trail running 5Ks, parenting two teens, mixing new 174 BPM drum’n’bass sets, or producing his own electronic music.

Maddy Montaquila (formerly Leger) is a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft and the product lead for Aspire. She’s been building dev tools at Microsoft since 2018, working across the .NET mobile stack and helping bring .NET MAUI to life. Maddy has been obsessed with making developers’ lives easier ever since her first dev tools internship, where she realized it perfectly combined her tech background with her passion for product development.

These days, she’s focused on making modern distributed app development suck a whole lot less. Maddy’s an experienced speaker who’s presented everywhere from local user groups to major keynotes, known for bringing great energy and a genuine love for dev tools to every talk.

Erlend has worked as a developer and security consultant for over 20 years, trying to build and break many different types of systems. He spends some of his free time on security research and open source tools, and is the main author behind retire.js - a free and open source scanner for JavaScript.
