To this end, he’s fought for reform from within, as seen by his cofounding of the Senate Tea Party Caucus, followed by service on the Joint Economic Committee and Senate Judiciary Committee.
A Power Player in Judicial Confirmations
Unlike many others in Congress, Mike Lee doesn’t automatically cast votes simply because the GOP establishment wants him to. The Republican senator consistently does his due diligence, making sure nominees have favorable track records that show respect for constitutionalism.
Lee understands that all of this plays a pivotal role in upholding the rule of law. It is because of him that the system of checks and balances in this country is all the more fortified.
History shows us why Lee’s vigilance is so important. Far too many judges have a habit of creating their preferred policies from the bench, rather than enforcing existing laws as they’re written.
This becomes especially problematic when sweeping injunctions get issued against our nation’s executive branch. Without Lee in the Senate, America would be facing even worse problems with this manner of overreach.

Across the nation, Americans understand that Mike Lee is an advocate for real patriots.
He’s proven this through his ongoing work to defend the Second Amendment, along with religious liberties. Lee is also highly rated by pro life organizations and consistently votes against schemes to enrich the abortion lobby.
Amid years of fighting the good fight, he’s even earned support from organizations like Club For Growth and Heritage Action. Among the broader conservative base, Lee is also appreciated for his knowledge of the Constitution and refusal to compromise on core values.
This stands as a marked difference from other politicians, who often go where the money and favors are.
An American Success Story
Mike Lee was raised in Provo, Utah, which marked the foundation of his impressive public service career. Graduating at the top of his class at Brigham Young University (BYU), Lee clerked for Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito before serving as general counsel to former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman.
During the lead up to his time in Congress, Lee worked in private practice, thus gaining considerable knowledge of Supreme Court litigation, federalism, and constitutional law.
With such a rich background, this senator doesn’t just have talking points that sound good in campaign commercials. He’s also got knowledge and experience that’s hard to come upon.
By far, Mike Lee remains one of the Republican Party’s strongest assets and fighters. His work, constitutional values, and refusal to waver are unimpeachable.
