1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using basekick.net and any services provided by Basekick Labs LLC ("Basekick Labs", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Basekick Labs provides the following products and services:

• Arc — An open-source time-series database licensed under AGPL-3.0. Enterprise features are available with a commercial license.
• Memtrace — An LLM-agnostic memory layer for AI agents.
• Liftbridge — A lightweight, fault-tolerant messaging system licensed under Apache 2.0.
• Archie — An AI-powered support chat widget on basekick.net, powered by Anthropic's Claude API.
• basekick.net — Our company website, documentation, and blog.

3. Open Source Software

Arc is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). Liftbridge is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Your use of these open-source products is governed by their respective licenses. Commercial licensing for Arc is available separately — contact [email protected] for details.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
• Use the Archie chat widget to submit harmful, abusive, or misleading content
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our services without permission

5. Intellectual Property

The Basekick Labs name, logo, and branding are the property of Basekick Labs LLC. The content on basekick.net (excluding open-source code) is protected by copyright. Open-source software is provided under their respective licenses as described above.

6. Arc Enterprise and Paid Services

Arc Enterprise and any future paid services (including Arc Cloud) are subject to separate agreements. Pricing, features, and terms for paid services are described on their respective product pages and in the applicable service agreement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Basekick Labs does not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Basekick Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
