About Me
I’m Bronce Rice, PsyD, MSW, a psychoanalyst and psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals explore their mental and emotional health. My expertise is shaped by extensive clinical training at the Western New England Institute for Psychoanalysis (WNEIP), where I’ve also taught psychoanalytic theory and technique. I completed postdoctoral training at Yale University in Epidemiology and Public Health, at the University of Michigan and at the Detroit Psychiatric Institute. Additionally, I’ve conducted research at the Yale Child Study Center and supervised psychology doctoral students at the Yale Anxiety and Mood Disorders Clinic.
Through research, clinical practice, teaching, and personal therapy, I’ve come to see that true health is deeply personal—what works for one person may not work for another. This realization led me to develop The Wellbeing Equation, a framework that recognizes wellbeing as a unique fingerprint, shaped by the dynamic interplay of psychological, emotional, and physical factors.
My passion is helping individuals uncover their own “equations of living”—so they can live more fulfilling, authentic lives, free from one-size-fits-all wellness approaches.
