Manual mobile publishing for LinkedIn

New

W7F5xp8NtDDtqeghw_fP39ngutFf-slvkbwabwtjpj385i_hqoqbwxrvk-publish-mobile-linkedin.png

Tag people in your LinkedIn posts by publishing them straight from the Planable mobile app.

  • LinkedIn's API only tags people when their privacy settings line up, so you might not always see the profiles you're looking for. Publishing from the app gets around that.
  • Turn it on for a whole page or a single post — Planable sends a push notification when the post is due, you open LinkedIn, tag, publish, then tap "Mark as Published."

Works for personal profiles and company pages, across text, images, GIFs, video, and PDF carousels.

Make sure you have the latest version of the mobile app.

Competitor analytics

New

Competitor analysis.png

The new Competitors tab in Analytics lets you track up to 5 Facebook and Instagram competitors per page and benchmark their performance against your own, so you can see exactly where you stand.

Data syncs daily and lives alongside your analytics, making competitor monitoring part of your regular workflow.

Here's what you'll find:

  • Quick comparison table: compare followers, posting activity, and engagement side by side, including period-over-period changes.
  • Metric trend chart: track follower growth and engagement over time for your page and your competitors in a single chart.
  • Top competitor posts: discover your competitors' best-performing content based on engagement and identify what's working in your niche.
  • CSV export: download the full dataset, including competitor metrics and top-performing posts, for reporting and deeper analysis.

Add competitors using a profile handle or URL, and the first sync will complete in about a minute.

Brand context in your workspace settings

New

Brand context.png

Planable's AI now writes in your brand's voice!

Brand context is a new section in workspace settings where you define your Tone of Voice, Brand Values, Approved Terminology, and Audience. Once filled in, Planable's AI reads it automatically every time you Generate, Rewrite, or Continue a post.

No toggles. It just works.

If you manage multiple clients, each workspace has its own brand xontext so the AI adapts per client without any extra input from you.

Owners and editors can edit it. You choose whether clients can see it.

Planable MCP: connect your AI assistant

New

MCP.png

Planable now connects to AI tools like Claude and Chat GPT via MCP. Once linked, your AI can work inside Planable on your behalf — with the same permissions you have.

What you can do from your AI chat:

  • Draft and organize posts across multiple workspaces without opening Planable

  • Get a quick status overview — what's pending, what's stuck, what hasn't moved in weeks

  • Pull performance data across clients and pages in one ask

  • Create posts across channels simultaneously, with labels applied at creation

Posts created through AI are always drafts. Publishing and approvals still happen in Planable, through the same process as usual.

Available on all plans.

Add https://mcp.planable.io/mcp as a custom connector. Here's more on how to set it up →

Public API

New

API.png

Planable now has a public API. Connect it to your internal tools, automation scripts, or custom workflows — and manage your Planable data programmatically.

Use it to draft and schedule posts from a CMS, sync your media library from an external asset tool, pull analytics into a custom dashboard, or keep your workspace structure in sync with how your team is organized.

Tokens are scoped to read or read/write, can be restricted to specific workspaces, and expire on your schedule. Only company owners and administrators can generate them.

AI visibility snapshot in Analytics

New

W7F5xp8NtDDtqeghw_b4wdKrpfPQ-ai-search-visibility.png

See how AI search engines reference your brand, directly inside Planable Analytics. Connect your domain to your workspace and get a monthly snapshot of your brand's presence across OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, and Gemini. No extra tabs, no separate tools.

  • Brand mention count across AI engines
  • Link presence in AI-generated answers
  • AIO traffic data for your domain

It's a starting point for understanding how your brand shows up where more and more of your clients' audiences are searching. Data is powered by SE Ranking, our sister company.

Available for workspaces with the Analytics add-on and a connected domain. Learn how to set it up →

Compact view for the content calendar

Improvement

calendar-compact-view.png

Switch between Default and Compact card sizes in your content calendar.

  • Default gives you full image previews — great when you're reviewing creative.

  • Compact shrinks the cards down so you can see more posts at once without scrolling – great for seeing the big picture

If you're managing a packed week across multiple clients, Compact lets you scan the the whole calendar in one view.

Switch anytime from your calendar's display settings.

Calendar display options

Improvement

calendar-display-settings.png

New display options let you control what appears on your post cards and in the calendar itself.

Toggle post elements like approvals, validations, labels, campaigns, and comments on or off.

  • Show or hide notes, campaigns, and weekends.

  • Fade out published posts so your attention stays on what still needs work.

  • Pick which day your week starts on.

Every team reads the calendar differently. Now yours can look the way you actually use it.

Post statuses on calendar cards

Improvement

Calendar - status.png

Posts in the calendar now display clear status labels: Draft, Pending (approval), Approved, and Scheduled.

With the status right on the card, you can spot what's waiting for approval, what's good to go, and what's still a work in progress at a glance.

Hint: for an extra layer of feedback, network icon colours are grey unless the post is scheduled or published. So if it's not coloured, it won't go out.

My approvals view

New

My approvals.png

Approvers now get an organized space to review content. See posts in 3 columns based on approval status.

Quickly go through each post, and approve or leave feedback. Posts automatically move into the corresponding column.

Approving content is now even easier, with everything that needs your attention in one place.
