CheckeredFlag is a super simple mail server. The intended use is for local application
development that needs to be able to send email. CheckeredFlag runs on the local
machine and doesn't need a network connection nor any special set up. Just run
it and that is all. SMTP, POP, and webmail are provided, which means you can send email with any email client and recieve email with just about every email client.

I'm the author, and I'm writing this review to point out that this project has changed drastically. It used to be a crappy web crawler that was written more as an exercise than something that was intended to be useful. Now it's a super simple email server with support for SMTP, POP3, and webmail. It works great for local testing of web applications that send email. It's solid and works very well. The one star review was for the crappy web crawler, and it deserved it.
