Placeholder for Master's Thesis

In this repository you will find the master's thesis about EditorConfig by Michael Baumgartner starting at the end of September 2026. It will contain the replication package, available under an open-source license, and the thesis document under a Create Commons license (similar to the repository of my bachelor's thesis at BaumiCoder/Bachelorthesis).

Survey

One part of the master's thesis is an online survey, which is open until the 30th of June 2026. All people with coding experience can answer it, independent of whether they know EditorConfig already or not. The term coding refers to writing code, which can be programming code or text files for IT administration purposes.

The master's thesis will present the survey responses in an aggregated form. The survey is fully anonymous, and the individual survey responses will be kept private.
