The ASP.NET Core DataGrid provides the client-side scrollToItem() method that allows you to programmatically scroll the Grid to a specified row (data item). This functionality is useful when the Grid must initially display a specified row or when the user must automatically navigate to a row based on certain logic being triggered.
This demo shows two different Grids where you can scroll to a specific item with a button click:
- Scrollable Grid—Scroll to a row by passing the
IDof the data item to thescrollToItem()method. - Virtual Scrollable Grid—Scroll to a row in a
Virtual ScrollingGrid, which is not loaded yet by passing theIDof the data item and acallbackfunction to thescrollToItem()method.
