This article explains how to connect the Demandbase app to ChatGPT so you can securely access your Demandbase data and intelligence directly from your conversations.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have:

  • A ChatGPT account with access to apps.
  • If you're using a managed workspace, your workspace administrator can enable apps from Workspace Settings > Apps in ChatGPT.
  • A Demandbase account enabled with ChatGPT.
  • Access to your organization's Demandbase Okta sign-in flow.

Step 1: Open the ChatGPT App Directory

  1. In ChatGPT, go to Settings > Apps.

  1. Click Add more.

Step 2. Find the Demandbase App

  1. Search for Demandbase.

  2. Select the Demandbase app listing.

Step 3. Connect the Demandbase App

  1. On the Demandbase app page, click Connect.
    Important: If the Connect button is disabled or missing, your ChatGPT workspace admin may need to enable apps for your workspace.

Step 4. Complete the Demandbase Sign-In Flow

You are redirected to Demandbase Okta.

  1. Sign in with your authorized Demandbase credentials.
  2. Review the requested permissions.
  3. Click Approve.
  4. Return to ChatGPT after authorization is complete.

Step 5. Start using Demandbase in ChatGPT

After the connection is complete, open a new chat and start asking Demandbase-related questions.

Example of using an app in ChatGPT after connection

Depending on your ChatGPT workspace and experience, you may be able to:

  • Select Demandbase from the available tools or apps.
  • Use Demandbase automatically in a chat after connecting.
  • Reference Demandbase by name if it's available in the conversation.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the Demandbase app

  • Confirm you're signed in to ChatGPT.
  • Verify that your ChatGPT plan and workspace support apps.
  • If you're using a managed workspace, ask your workspace admin whether apps are enabled.

The Connect button is disabled

  • Your workspace admin may need to enable apps for your workspace.
  • App availability may vary by ChatGPT plan, region, or workspace policy.

I can sign in, but access is denied

  • Your Demandbase account may not yet be enabled for ChatGPT. Contact your Demandbase Account Team.
