HTMLAreaElement: pathname property
Baseline
Widely available
This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The HTMLAreaElement.pathname property is a
string containing an initial '/' followed by the path of
the URL not including the query string or fragment (or the empty string if there is no
path).
The pathname is percent-encoded when setting but not percent-decoded when read.
Value
A string.
Examples

const area = document.getElementById("myArea");
