There’s a lot to discuss about the bigger goals of my company - Evelyn Henry, in the days to come. It’s larger than a Substack, but this is a lovely place to start the conversation and do my most dreaded thing - niche down. *panic*
This is as far as I can possibly niche. It’s not smaller than a bread box, but I’m not going to force it, especially with personal expansion as a main goal.
“ The intersection of psychology, fashion, design, culture and sensory experiences.” - Super small description (joke) couldn’t be smaller.
But what does it mean?
In the most basic terms, it’s “okay - you love/ hate/avoid/are drawn to that, but WHY?”
I’ve got questions, answers, culture, history, science and a whole lot of experience. I love nothing more than researching and reporting with empathy, caring and a need to progress and understand further. To truly see the world and see people. Critical thinking, research, knowledge, awareness, AND - make it FABULOUS.
About Me.
Hello, I’m Jean Grae. I work as a stylist, art director and general life design curator - in addition to being a multidisciplinary artist, author and painter. I’ve been a professional creative for over 30 years. My very special specialty is working within my communities, LGBTIA+ , AuDHD, hypermobile Ehlers Danlos (and other chronic pain and illness communities) people of the global majority, first gen’ers, immigrants -
BUT EVERYONE IS WELCOME! EVERYONE!
LUXURY FOR EVERYbody
It’s important to list my communities, because there are sensitivities and topics that don’t get taken into account. Our brains, our bodies and how they move through the world are not always in consideration - especially when discussing style, fashion, existing in those things inside and out. So know that my tisms, gender transcendence, complex existence and conditions drive this Evelyn Henry Luxury train. You may have already noticed this, if your pattern recognition is tingling.
Everything is that deep. I’m here to help, listen, chat, and propose new ways of thinking. I’m also here to simply show you beautiful things you may want to get, and more.
I’m sure that the subscription details are in that space, good? Because I’m at the end of this particular task rope - IYKYK. Could I have been more detailed about this in a shorter amount of time? Sure. I’m in perimenopause though. So…meh.
There’s a wonderful subscribe button below if this has interested you. There it is.
