Hi!

My name is Alexandra and I’m in my 30s. I live in Romania, where coffee is cheap and the internet is fast.

Once upon a time, I used to work as a journalist. Fast forward to now, and I’ve been a content crafter for 9+ years, writing about everything from entertainment articles to business features and short personal development e-books.

I love words, books, and old typewriters. I binge-watch TV shows like a lunatic. I share custody of the world’s most spoiled dog with my mom. I like to travel. I like rain. I like pasta, in almost any shape and size.

Fidgeting is where I rediscovered my joy for writing. I cover pop culture, books, and life, with occasional despair sprinkled in, because we live in the darkest timeline.

My content is free because I don’t like the thought of putting it behind a paywall. If you have the means to support it, however, I have a Ko-Fi page.

Buy me a coffee

You can also buy Fidgeting: Year One, a PDF collection of all the posts I wrote during my first year on Substack.

That way, you’ll have an inventory of my typos for posterity. And something to read on your phone when in a remote area with limited internet access. You can never be too prepared.

Thank you for being here. Your attention is a gift. I don’t plan to take it for granted.

Work with me

I’m also available for freelance commissions! I write for $ and Taylor Swift tickets, but mostly to keep my dog fed and happy.

I have experience with a variety of topics, from business to entertainment. Shoot me an e-mail at [email protected].
