FOCUS! explores the evolution of animation from the perspective of a veteran author wanting to make it better understood and appreciated by the general public. It covers the art form in both academic and popular ways, discussing in a respectful manner what it has achieved and what it might achieve in the future.

My own writings on animation include the books “America ‘Toons In: A History Of Television Animation” (McFarland and Co.) and “The Encyclopedia Of American Animated Television Shows” (Rowman and Littlefield), available in print and digital form wherever books are sold.
