"From 0 to 1: Cultivating Architectural Thinking." While I am still working towards managing large-scale systems, my independent projects have taught me the loop of Requirements → Tech Selection → Iteration → Optimization.

  • Goal: Lightweight recognition avoiding heavy deep learning models.
  • Evolution:
    1. Prototype: Started with MATLAB; faced performance bottlenecks due to unstructured logic.
    2. Refactor: Switched to OpenCV, redesigning the plate localization algorithm from scratch.
    3. Outcome: Solved performance issues and realized the critical role of early architectural design.
  • Goal: Human-like interaction experience.
  • Evolution:
    1. Interaction: Moved from simple Q&A to fragmented responses & simulated typing delays.
    2. Memory: Designed a Long/Short-Term Memory mechanism integrated with AI.
    3. Stability: Focused on extensibility, fixing legacy bugs while adding proactive messaging.
  • Goal: Data-driven, lightweight email tool.
  • Evolution:
    1. Data: Filtered 500k raw entries down to a 6k core dataset using a "Vibe Coding" approach.
    2. Implementation: API-based dataset labeling to power core features.
    3. Reflection: Recognized early limitations in extensibility, learning valuable lessons for future planning.

📌 Personal Philosophy

True architecture is about trade-offs under scale, complexity, and high availability. My current projects are my "Architectural Prototypes" — the lessons learned from refactoring and debugging are my stepping stones toward becoming a System Architect.
