Personal Portfolio Website | Quantitative Finance, Financial Analytics, and Applied Research
This repository contains the source code for my personal portfolio website - a curated presentation of my background, experience, projects, and applied work across quantitative finance, financial analytics, investment research, and financial technology.
This is a personal portfolio repository. It is not a template, starter kit, or reusable framework.

A resume can summarize experience, but it rarely shows how someone thinks.
I built this website to present my work in a more complete and honest way - not just what I have done, but how I approach problems, structure analysis, and connect finance with data, modeling, and technology.
Some sections are designed for quick scanning. Others are meant to be explored in depth. Everything here is intentional and continuously refined.
This codebase powers my public portfolio and serves as a living record of my professional direction.
It brings together:
- Academic background in finance, accounting, and quantitative methods
- Professional experience across finance, analytics, operations, and education
- Applied projects in investment analysis, derivatives, fixed income, and financial modeling
- Finance + technology work including Python workflows, dashboards, automation, and research prototypes
The goal is not just presentation - it is clarity, credibility, and signal.
My academic path has been broad by design and increasingly quantitative over time. This portfolio reflects that progression.
-
Master of Science in Finance (Quantitative Finance) - University at Buffalo, SUNY
Focus areas include derivatives, fixed income, portfolio theory, quantitative methods, and financial modeling. -
Master of Business Administration (Finance) - Anna University
Strong grounding in corporate finance, investment analysis, strategy, and applied business decision-making. -
Master of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) Advanced exposure to accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and analytical finance.
-
Diploma in Goods and Services Tax (GST) Specialized study in indirect taxation and regulatory compliance in India.
-
Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting) Foundation in accounting, economics, business law, and financial systems.
While I do not always list every credential in every application, this repository reflects the broader academic arc that shaped my approach.
My work spans finance, analytics, education, and applied research. Across roles and projects, I have worked on:
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and fund tracking
- Investment-related research and decision support
- Quantitative finance teaching support (derivatives and pricing concepts)
- Project-based analytical work across finance and operations
I am especially interested in roles where analytical rigor, structured thinking, and practical execution matter more than buzzwords.
My work sits at the intersection of multiple financial domains rather than a single narrow niche.
- Black-Scholes-Merton pricing, Greeks, and hedging intuition
- Volatility modeling and VIX replication
- Structured payoff analysis and asymmetric risk understanding
- Multi-asset portfolio optimization using simulation approaches
- Risk measurement using VaR, drawdowns, and stress testing
- Strategy design informed by both theory and market behavior
- Bond analytics including duration, convexity, and spread analysis
- Yield curve interpretation and scenario-based analysis
- Portfolio modeling using institutional-style tools
- Algorithmic trading systems with brokerage integration
- NLP-based analysis of earnings calls and disclosures
- Interactive dashboards for financial analysis and visualization
- Python-based workflows for research, validation, and reporting
This website is built using a modern frontend stack focused on performance, clean UI, and maintainability.
| Technology | Role |
|---|---|
| React 19 | Component-based UI |
| Vite | Fast development and optimized builds |
| Tailwind CSS 4 | Utility-first styling and design consistency |
| Framer Motion | Animations and transitions |
| React Router 7 | Client-side routing |
The project is organized to keep content, layout, and logic clearly separated.

This repository is public for visibility and professional context - not for reuse.
- It is not maintained as a template or framework
- It reflects personal design, content, and architecture choices
- It may evolve frequently as I update projects, experience, and research work
If something here inspires an idea, that is great. If you are looking for a reusable portfolio starter, this repository is not intended for that purpose.
The site is hosted via GitHub Pages with a custom domain and is served at: https://aurokrishnaa.me
Production builds are generated from the main branch and deployed as the live portfolio site.
