@cmek This example is created automatically with https://github.com/Azure/azure-rest-api-specs/blob/15267537d1578b355fb1ef700873b64a12d32c6f/specification/network/resource-manager/Microsoft.Network/stable/2024-05-01/examples/ExpressRouteCrossConnectionUpdate.json#L4 so it is supposed to be changed manually.

I see, can you point me at the script(s) in the specs repo that generate those snippets so I can test things locally?

I'm not sure if it's the script/template that generates the python example that's wrong or the input data or both, so if it's just the data this should fix it:

Azure/azure-rest-api-specs@main...cmek:azure-rest-api-specs:er_update_fix

let me know what you think and I can create a pull request for that.
